Joshua and his friend Tristen had a sleep over weekend before last. (Yes, I'm just now blogging it!) The weather was warm enough, and they decided to sleep outside. They quickly figured out that if they did that they would have nothing electronic to play with for the duration of their late night. This was their solution. Do you remember the days when you had a sleep over and you talked and goofed around playing dumb games like "Light as a Feather, Stiff as a Board?", or prank calling the boys you liked? What has the world come to??
Do you see all the extension cords??
TV, PS2/DVD player, IPOD and speakers, and a cooler for pop and snacks.
After they spent all evening hauling this stuff outside and setting it up, they retreated back into the house at about 10 pm claiming it was frostbite weather outside. I got on the internet and looked....it was 62. Yep...frostbite for sure!

This is SOOO very wrong. You know you should have stopped them. Given them some hints about hide-and-go seek in the dark (or with flashlights). It is just not a campout if you bring all the electronics with you... Boys need to exercise their imaginations too.
